Tacloban survivors commemorate Yolanda's 2nd anniversary

Thousands of Yolanda survivors in Tacloban City lighted candles along the streets as a communal memorial for families who lost their loved ones during Super

Typhoon Yolanda exactly two years ago. According to the organizers, there are at least 50,000 candles lined-up on highways, major thoroughfares and places where people perished covering more or less 20 kilometers stretching from the town of Tolosa down to Tacloban City.

The authorities reported that close to 7,000 lives have been lost during the onslaught of the big storm. (Photo: Rowel C. Montes)
