Eastern Samar Police Community Relations hailed for outstanding achievements

Borongan City, Eastern Samar – Police Senior Superintended Tranquilino Araral III personally received a plaque of recognition for and in behalf of Eastern Samar Provincial Police Office (ESPPO) as Outstanding Police Provincial Office in Police Community Relations on 29 July 2016 at Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Office 8, Camp Ruperto Kangleon, Palo, Leyte.

The award, given on the occasion of the 21st PCR (Police Community Relations) Month Celebration, was handed by Police Chief Superintendent Elmer Beltejar. PCR is aimed at establishing a dialogue with the community, policing a broad term which involves proactive programs designed to integrate police-community relations with actual police work. 

This is designed for police to be in close relationship with the constituents to further strengthen its commitment to “serve and protect” through community support and cooperation and vice versa. 

The ESPPO was cited for its outstanding achievements which enhanced and strengthened police-community partnership that made significant contribution to Peace and Order and overall development of the community from the period June 2015 – May 2016.
